Based in beautiful Dorset, Seam Different was born from our family's journey and inspired by our neurodivergent daughter. Every design is created with purpose, blending comfort, quality and personality.

Made in Dorset
Every design is digitised for stitching, then hooped and embroidered by us on a single-needle Brother VR in our Dorset studio — then pressed, checked and packed by hand. No warehouse, no production line, just a family who cares how each piece turns out.
Turnaround, pricing & deliveryPrinted too
Some designs work better in ink than in thread. For those we use DTF (direct-to-film) printing — your design is professionally printed onto film, then heat-pressed onto the garment by us here in the studio. Crisp edges, bright colour and a soft, flexible finish that moves with the fabric rather than cracking like older transfers.
Embroidery or print — which suits your design?
Labels removed on request, soft trimmed backing behind every design, placement moved wherever it works for you, and quiet paper packaging — sensory-friendly finishing as standard on every piece of embroidered and printed neurodiversity clothing we make.
